worst blog ever

im back,, and i want to give my sincerest apologies to all my loyal followers out there. all 5 of you. the last 10 days has been incredible. unfortunately trying to find a place to eat and sleep has taken precident over updating the blog. i will have tons of pics up soon. managed to ski at 5 different hills, 4 different onsens, and amassed a similar debt to a small african country... all worth it.

Hokkaido

Allright Ive made it to the northern island of Hokkaido. It took me two planes, a bus and a train to arrive. Its beautiful here. Got in late and met rachel at the train station. went to greggs(dude who used to raft guide in golden and very hospitable host) and spent the night. up early the next day and straight into snowboarding at Kokusai. Absolutely dumping from when we got there till we left.. The deepest driest snow ive shredded all year. which isnt saying much for this particular year.. BUT it was amazing. The runs were exactley how I thought they would be.. Cool old growth trees with sweet pillows here and there. A lot of fun, and a great beginning to the trip. Had famous Hokkaido soup currey for dinner and beat by ten. heading on the train to another northern town where the hill is supposed to be pretty great. Bought tickets to Tokyo for the 2nd. So we plan to spend some time in there before we fly back to Canada.
So far this place is both insanely different but oh so much fun.
